Acne & breakouts

Active acne, congestion and hormonal patterns, treated with a plan, not a single facial.

What it is

Acne isn't just one condition, and not every breakout happens for the same reason. That's why what works for one person often doesn't work for someone else. In clinic, we commonly see three main patterns. Hormonal breakouts usually affect the chin, jawline and neck. Congestion causes blocked pores, blackheads and small bumps, often across the forehead, nose and cheeks. Inflammatory acne is deeper, red, painful and more likely to leave behind pigmentation or scarring. One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to dry their acne out. Harsh cleansers, over-exfoliating and constantly changing products can damage the skin barrier, leading to more inflammation, increased oil production and even more breakouts. Our approach is to identify what's driving your acne first. From there, we create a personalised treatment plan that calms inflammation, supports the skin barrier and combines professional treatments with a realistic homecare routine for long-term results.

Why there isn't one answer

What you actually need depends on your skin, the cause, your history and your timeline. Two people with the same concern often need different plans, and that's the whole reason SDK doesn't run from a treatment menu.

The treatments listed below are the ones most commonly used for acne & breakouts. Which of them, and in what order, frequency and combination, is decided at your consultation.

Next step

Bring your skin in. We'll tell you what's actually going on.

Every plan at SDK starts with a proper assessment, not a treatment booking. By the end you'll have a written plan and an honest sense of what's realistic.
