Texture & uneven skin

Rough skin, enlarged pores and uneven surface, improved through structured resurfacing.

What it is

Uneven skin texture can have many different causes, which is why there's rarely a single solution. For some people it's congestion and blocked pores beneath the surface. For others, it's the result of previous acne, sun damage, dehydration or a gradual loss of collagen over time. Often, it's a combination of several factors. One of the biggest misconceptions is that rough or bumpy skin can be fixed by scrubbing harder or exfoliating more often. In reality, over-exfoliating can damage the skin barrier, increase sensitivity and leave the skin feeling even rougher. Improving skin texture takes consistency. Professional treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling and bespoke skin treatments help to refine the skin in a controlled way, while the right homecare supports healthy skin function between appointments. Our goal isn't to create smoother skin for a few days. It's to improve the overall health and quality of your skin, so it looks brighter, feels smoother and continues to improve over time.

Why there isn't one answer

What you actually need depends on your skin, the cause, your history and your timeline. Two people with the same concern often need different plans, and that's the whole reason SDK doesn't run from a treatment menu.

The treatments listed below are the ones most commonly used for texture. Which of them, and in what order, frequency and combination, is decided at your consultation.

Next step

Bring your skin in. We'll tell you what's actually going on.

Every plan at SDK starts with a proper assessment, not a treatment booking. By the end you'll have a written plan and an honest sense of what's realistic.
