By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, purchasing a treatment, or undergoing any service provided by SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility for treatment
All clients must be aged 18 years or over.
Valid photographic identification may be requested where appropriate.
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD reserves the right to refuse, postpone, modify, or discontinue treatment where clinically appropriate or where treatment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable. This includes but is not limited to:
- Contraindications
- Pregnancy-related concerns
- Compromised skin barrier
- Active infection or irritation
- Undisclosed medical conditions
- Unsafe skin conditions
- Unrealistic expectations
- Concerns regarding client wellbeing or suitability
2. Consultation & medical disclosure
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up to date medical, skin, and lifestyle information before treatment. This includes but is not limited to:
- Medical conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Allergies or sensitivities
- Medication use
- Current skincare products
- Previous aesthetic or cosmetic procedures
- Recent sun exposure
- Active infections or skin conditions
Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of adverse reactions and negatively affect treatment outcomes.
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD accepts no responsibility for complications arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld information.
3. Treatments covered
These Terms & Conditions apply to all treatments provided by SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD, including but not limited to:
- Microneedling
- Nanoneedling
- Chemical peels
- BioRePeel
- Green Sea Peel / spicule-based treatments
- Dermaplaning
- LED light therapy
- High frequency
- Bespoke facials
- Combination treatments
- Future advanced skin treatments introduced by the clinic
4. Informed consent & treatment risks
All treatments carry potential risks and side effects. Possible side effects may include but are not limited to:
- Redness
- Swelling
- Dryness
- Sensitivity
- Flaking or peeling
- Bruising
- Breakouts or purging
- Infection
- Allergic reaction
- Delayed healing
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Hypopigmentation
- Scarring in rare cases
Clients acknowledge and accept that:
- Results vary between individuals
- Results cannot be guaranteed
- Multiple treatments may be required
- Healing response differs between individuals
- Homecare compliance impacts treatment outcomes
Certain treatments carry an increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation, particularly in clients with darker skin tones or a history of pigmentation.
By proceeding with treatment, clients provide informed consent and accept the associated risks.
5. Pregnancy & breastfeeding
Clients must disclose pregnancy, suspected pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility treatment, or attempts to conceive prior to treatment. Certain treatments may be modified, postponed, or refused accordingly.
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD accepts no responsibility for complications arising from failure to disclose pregnancy or related information.
6. Patch testing
Patch testing may be required at the practitioner’s discretion depending on treatment type, medical history, skin sensitivity, or risk factors. Failure to attend a requested patch test may result in treatment cancellation.
7. Aftercare responsibility
Clients agree to follow all verbal, written, and digital aftercare advice provided by SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may increase the risk of complications including but not limited to:
- Infection
- Pigmentation changes
- Sensitivity
- Delayed healing
- Reduced treatment results
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD accepts no liability for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare guidance. Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding all aftercare information provided.
8. Clinical photography & record keeping
Clinical photographs may be taken before, during, and after treatment for medical documentation, treatment planning, progress tracking, insurance purposes, and legal record keeping. These images are stored securely and confidentially.
Separate optional consent will be obtained before any images are used for social media, website content, marketing, or educational purposes. Clients may withdraw marketing consent at any time in writing.
9. Social media & communication
Advice provided via social media, text message, email, WhatsApp, or direct messaging does not replace a clinical consultation or emergency medical advice. Clients experiencing severe reactions or medical emergencies should seek appropriate medical assistance immediately.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted under UK law, SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD shall not be held liable for undisclosed medical conditions, undisclosed allergies or sensitivities, failure to follow aftercare instructions, use of non-recommended products or treatments, sun exposure or heat exposure post-treatment, individual biological response, delayed healing, or complications outside the practitioner’s reasonable control.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
11. Results disclaimer
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD does not guarantee specific treatment outcomes. Treatment results depend on multiple factors including skin condition, medical history, lifestyle, hormonal factors, client compliance, homecare use, and healing response. Individual outcomes vary.
12. Payments, bookings & cancellations
Full payment (100%) is required to secure all appointments and treatment plans. All payments made to SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD are strictly non-refundable.
Appointments may be transferred or rescheduled a maximum of two times only, with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, missed appointments, or failure to attend will result in loss of payment and/or treatment session.
Clients arriving significantly late may have their treatment shortened or their appointment cancelled where necessary.
For treatment plans and prepaid courses, any rescheduled session must be rebooked within 14 days of the original appointment date. Failure to rebook within this timeframe will result in that session being forfeited and deducted from the treatment plan.
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where clinically or operationally necessary.
13. Client conduct
SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment where a client behaves aggressively or inappropriately, fails to comply with professional advice, attends under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or poses a risk to staff, themselves, or others.
14. Complaints
Any concerns regarding treatment should be raised in writing to sdk.clinic@outlook.com. Clients must allow reasonable opportunity for assessment and resolution before seeking third-party treatment or corrective procedures elsewhere.
15. Agreement
By booking, attending, or undergoing treatment with SDK Skin Aesthetics LTD, clients confirm that they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, have had the opportunity to ask questions, consent to treatment, accept the associated risks, and agree to comply with all policies and aftercare instructions.
