What it actually does

Who it's for
Clients with acne scarring, textural irregularity or laxity, where the underlying skin is otherwise settled. Active acne is treated first.
Who it's not for
Active acne in the treatment area, active infection, certain medications, recent isotretinoin use, pregnancy, keloid scarring tendency. Full review at consultation.
What to expect
In clinic.
After cleansing and a topical numbing period, microneedling is carried out at the depth and density appropriate to your skin and your plan. Treatment may include a targeted skin booster to enhance results. Each session is tailored on the day rather than run to a fixed protocol. A course or structured plan is often recommended for best results.
Afterwards
Recovery.
Typical redness for 24 to 48 hours, sometimes mild flaking after. Makeup is usually fine the day after; SPF is non-negotiable. Home actives are reintroduced gradually.
